Tonight we had an impromptu Rock Band party after work.. since 360 users get the game first and ps3 had to wait..and i couldn't wait.. and YES, it is crazy awesome!
Rockband 2 really brings out the fun in the game to what it is supposed to be, a game amongst friends getting piss drunk and waking up neighbors in the middle of the night.. the song selections are great, and the fact that you can merge the first disc with the second is a great option so you dont have to bounce back and forth between original set and new.. and your downloads carry over which give me 300+ songs when i eventually get it next month. WOOOP.
Everlong is by far one of the most timing oriented drum's i've ever played.. i mean you have to be on point EVERY note or you'll die.
(note I do not count that thrasher or deathmetal shit on the game, although I own all those songs, they are just billions of notes flying at you at high speeds.. not my idea of fun)
But songs like, Run to the Hills, Hysteria, Move Along and the Grateful dead.. Everlong ranks up there as one of the most intricate drums (on expert) I have done.. and I am ashamed to say.. i was defeated, but i WILL pass that song.. just like how I learn to pass Move Along..
We played the fuck out of that game... started pretty early.. and ended at about 430am.. LOL.. when we rock all night.. we rock.
