The night has come!!! I think we've had the tickets for about 5 months I think? lol. Russell Peters and friends is here in San Diego! I've been dying to see him live, and it was WELL worth the wait. He has new material and its fucking hilarious! Literally the first half of the show I was slumped to the side grabbing my side laughing so hard. If you've never seen his acts, you should and if you get a chance to live.. DO IT.
We're not allowed to take pictures or video tape inside.. so this is all i have of the venue. Pretty much the same thing the last time we were there. Every seat in the house is good, and if you have a boat.. you can watch on the water. And even those boaters arent safe from Russell's crowd hazing. lol.
This is our second time going to Humphreys for a show, and our second time getting a dinner ticket.. Jayne had the fish while I had the Steak.
Anna and John also got tickets and we made it a double. =)
As you may or may not know, Russell Peters likes to fuck with the crowd. The was a large amount of Arabs in the crowd, which he didnt plan for and totally winged the situation. The entire night he was messing with an Iraqi guy named "Safe" who sounded mexican. Also a chinese guy named Gau Ping Yu.. which he flipped to "Groping You". If you've seen his acts.. this was just sheer genius. He plays with the crowd.. and does it well.
