We've waited months for this to come through.. NPPL! Qualcomm stadium was invaded by the US's top pro players in the sport. All the teams we watch on youtube are here playing for all to see.. Dynasty, Ironmen, Aftermath.. oh yea!

Playstation 3 was there with a booth showing off Socom Confrontation.. eh.


That new Paintball game NPPL 2009 had a booth there! Hands on demo and Tourney..

Initially watching the game, I noticed when you get shot they give you the option to cheat.. (wipe the shot) but if you do it in front of a ref, your team will suffer either a 1 for 1 or penalty in points. But either way.. thats just so sick that you can do that.

Aside from cheating (wiping), the games interface tells you how many people are left on your team and your opponents, hopper rounds, pod pack count, and even air in your tank.. you can also switch hands, snap shoot, slide, and dive.. its pretty realistic, but on thing that ryan pointed out that the game doesnt do is when you are laying out a lane, you can refill your hopper and keep shooting at the same time.. which changes basic strategy a little bit because that suppressive fire can keep your opponents at bay, and since during a reload you can hold them down, you open up an opportunity for them to advance..  

good buddah i cant wait for this game to come out.. LOL

The vendor section was awesome.. paintball is a pretty expensive sport, luckily, at events like this vendors tend to sell their shit for dirt cheap.. i came up with a new goggle system that i've been jocking for sometime now, a red version of the hybrid 08 jersey (now all of us have one.. team color i guess LOL) and the best deal I got.. was a new/used Fusion 8

This is exactly what it looks like.. except the one I got has an on/off turn style instead of the little flip switch.. I turned my marker in to have it looked at, tested and such. The ASA was leaking from every hole when I gased it up, and the macro line was chewed up, so I'm having them rebuild it and make sure i have O rings where I need them. I cant wait to take this bad boy out.. hehe

The Ben's have eagerly named my gun.. "Doo Doo Brown" hahah.. I guess so, watch out for "Doo Doo Brown" bitches!

I was supposed to go to the Production Jamboree in mission bay, but I got so caught up watching the games, by the time I left NPPL it was already too late to stop by, and since I wasnt going on Sunday we decided to stay.

Now i'm itching to go out and play.. hahahh..
