I'm not a Trekky. I do love Deep Space Nine ALOT. I did watch Next Generation, and me and a friend Alan used to watch late night Classic Episodes, every now and again I'll catch some Voyager, and I never really watch Enterprise.. nor have I seen EVERY Star Trek Movie... so am i?
Today we went to the Star Trek Exhibition at the Aerospace Museum..
They wouldn't allow any pictures inside the exhibit.. so this is the only picture I have...
The exhibit was a bit of a let down.. although it was put together nicely, it was short and un-fufilling. Here are somethings we saw..
Original Deck set from the Classic Series with Captain Kirk's actual chair.. and Zulu's drivers seat. You can take a paid picture there but we opted out.
A Next Generation Hallway leading to the transporter room. Where you can actually get beamed up.
Original costumes like, Kirk and Spocks uniforms, Commander Sisco's war uniform, SEVEN OF NINE'S uniform.. mmmm. Kira's and more.
I actually saw pieces of Latinum!
The Borg Cube, which looks like an unfinished Gundam Model.
And a bunch more.. I kinda wished there were more DS9 stuff, but it was mainly towards next gen, classic and some movies. The exhibit is very small and very short.. theres a Simulator ride.. but you have to pay.. bleh.. fuck it.. it was enough to get my nerd shorts moist.. but nothing to get all excited about.
All in all a 5 out of 10.. i saw.. i left.. i had more fun at the Experience in Vegas.. and that was free. I wonder what the paid side looks like?
Live Long and Prosper.. bitches.
