LA Excursion

After Jayne got her new do, and I got my mac back.. we wanted to go on a little drive today..

So we decided to go on a little drive to LA today.. we had a few places in mind to hit.. but once we got near la brea, we decided to wing it.. by first driving to...

Union, Stussy and Undefeated LA!.. Too bad EVERYTHING in the stores were obscenely overpriced.. I wanted this Union Jacket.. but it was $398.. then I saw a Stussy jacket.. and that was $390.. fack! And undefeated was much better in LA than in Vegas. But nothing I really wanted except for their sweaters.. and from the last stussy sale we've found they are hella heavy haha. (It doesnt get that cold in san diego)

So after leaving with nothing.. we decided to hit up pinks hot dogs.. which we found is literally 4 blocks down from Stussy.. haha sweet!

The Famous Pinks.

From the moment we got there.. to ordering our food.. about 45 minutes.

I opted for the Martha Stewart (mayo, bacon, saurkraut, tomatoes) and Rosie Odonell (Chili and saurkraut and cheese) and a Diet coke. (lol) Jayne got the Chili Bacon Dog and a Cherry Cola..

After it was all said in done.. we spent about an hour in line.. to eat in about 10 minutes. LOL.

After Pinks, we contemplated going to Universal for hollywood horror nights, but you had to buy an admission to the park, and it was like 4pm already so it would have been a waste.. so we decided to go to hollywood blvd and look for janet jacksons hollywood star.

After cruising Hollywood blvd and checking out the costume shops we didnt find her star.. but we did stop by Hollywood and Highland and jayne was in awe. lol.. she had never been here before and wanted to shop more.. but decided not too look around too much because she would spend too much there. hehe.. good idea.

I did find this cool louis vutton display..  You gotta admit LA does do visuals really good.

One of the more odder things we saw on the strip was Some street dancers.. (mostly popping) one of them looked like Rorsarch from The Watchmen.. and Ironman..

You gotta love LA. It was getting late and places were closing so we wanted to try and hit the block before they close.. but we ended up stuck on the 101 for like an hour.. which is something I really hate about LA.. i hate driving in general, and having traffic almost 24/7 would drive me insane. We actually missed the exit to the Block, so we hit up Irvine Spectrum, and I havent been here in years and it has grown since. We were able to catch a few shops before they closed, didnt pick anything up (as to keep with our no spending theme) but really saw a few things for us to check out next time when we have more time.

At spectrum we found a place called Javier.. were gonna have to make a trip up here again just to eat there. hehe.  But we did stop by Rocky Mountain Chocolate and bought a few pieces for the trip home.. mmmm sugar rush.

Got home just around midnight and with all the coffee we drank, i stayed up a bit installing programs and setting up my configurations on the mac...

I got the phone call tonight too... Rock Band 2 will be in store and ready for pick up tomorrow. woot.
