New Mortal Kombat Remake?!?

Just in time for E3 video game announcement?... maybe Comic-Con fall movie release?

Found this Mortal Kombat Clip.. featuring Mike Jai White (Black Dynamite!) as Jax.. interrogating what mystery character? Trying to get him to join Shang Tusng's tourney?

And oh my... Jeri Ryan (Seven of 9) as Sonya Blade.. oh yum.

After the mishaps of the last few Kombats.. this one takes a different darker twist.. i guess if it worked for the Batman Franchise.. it could work for this one HAHAHA it was hard to get over Arnold's "Iceman" one liners.. but Dark Knight made up for it..

Do you think this can be a revival of a pretty big failure of movie series?
